Star Poem W6

Hi guys this week for writing we are taking a break from writing our speeches and doing poems instead. In our first workshop we were getting ideas on what we would write our poems about and also the theme. my first option was to do a rhyming poem on the colour yellow but mid way through writing the poem I didn't really know if it was going to make sense so I google some ideas and now my new poem is about stars. (it's also a rhyming one btw) Here is a photo of my poem, I added the poem down below if it's too hard to read through the picture!

poem: Star light, star bright, star shining in the night, the twinkling stars above us all, very bright so tiny and small, the ones we wish upon every night, are very far in sight, but one day when the time will come, our wishes will become undone.

Top 10 hobbies for happiness

Hey guys this week for reading we were looking at hobbies, What is a hobby you may ask? It's an activity you enjoy doing in your own time. Our Hero goal was: Use knowledge from text to combine with new ideas (own and others) to come up with new thinking. For our create task we got to choose what to create, I did a top 10 hobbies for happiness poster I also made a video on how to bake a cake! Mixed Fractions W5

This week for maths we were focusing on mixed fractions! We were also learning what proper and improper fractions were, Proper fractions are when the numerator is smaller than the denominator and improper fractions are when the numerator is larger than the denominator. For our create task we were to create 3 word problems for mixed fractions. We only did proper fractions because those are easier than improper ones. Here is my slideshow.

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog! this week for writing we were getting ready for writing our speechs and focusing on persuasive writing. This week we got to choose out of 6 things to write about:
