Lawn bowls

Hi Guys and welcome back to my blog! Today I am going to tell you about Lawn Bowls. On Thursday the 7th of November Me my friends and a bunch of other people were put in a group to go and Play Lawn Bowls. Our instructor was really nice and we got to choose a green ball or a Purple ball. Then we got in a circle and stood on the cone that was the same colour as our ball. Our goal was to knock peoples balls out of the hula hoops but get our balls in there too. I had so much fun. Next we got into threes or two's and there were really cool activities where you could score points. I had a really fun time and I can't wait to play Korfball next time!
Have you ever played Lawn Bowls?

Ferrymead trip Term 4

Ferrymead!

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog! on the 29 of October my hub Tumu went on a trip to Ferrymead! when we hopped off the bus and a man greeted us and told us the rules. Then we walked  through a gate to the actual olden day place. A lady took us girls to get changed into olden day uniform that kids used to wear While the man who greeted us took the boys. then we took our bags and walked to a hall where the girls sat on one side and the boys sat on the other. Then we split into our groups I was with my friends Beth, Eilish and Megan. The olden day place was really cool and you could see everything from the store to the movie theatre. The first place we went to was back in the hall with other groups to play a really fun game called In the Bag it's where there are bags around the room and the person up the front picks someone to come up and choose a bag, and in the bag has some questions and if you get all of the questions right then you can choose to get a freddo frog or a ruler. After we were finished playing the game we went to go have morning tea and the food was really kiwiana. We soon got to go back to our groups and we could explore the village. There was a movie on so we went to a really cute mini movie theatre there were really cute seats and the movie was black and white. We walked to the church and other places like old houses. Then we went to the School where the teacher was really srickt and he had a cane. We had to write with calligraphy pens and ink pots! After the school we went back to have lunch and play with the really fun equipment! The last thing we did was go on a tram ride through the whole of Ferrymead. I had an awesome day at Ferrymead and I hope we come back again. My favourite part of the day was definitely the Tram ride!
Have you ever been to Ferrymead before? and if you have what was your favourite thing?
