For our create task we were to work through some ratio problems with our maths buddie. Reading Week 7

 Hi Guys and welcome back to my blog! This week for reading our goal was: Identify some text events and features from the text and discuss what they make the reader think about. We were still reading our next chapters for The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas. For our create task we were to create a video that must answer and state the following for our DLO:

• Three features of a fiction text with examples 
• Discuss what have these features made you think about and why you think the author included them?

Reading Week 8

 Hi Guys and welcome back to my blog! This week for reading we were still reading our novel The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas. For our create task we had to show from the text: A main idea, what it made us think about, our understanding and what the author has focused it on. Then we had to create a DLO showing the 4 things.  Hi guys and welcome back to my blog! This week for writing we were looking at how to create an infographic to show our data. For our create task we obviously had to create an infographic about what we were doing our PBL on I was doing Quality Education. Here is my infographic.

Maths Week 8

 Hi Guys and welcome back to my blog! This week for maths our goal was: Use multiplication and Division strategies to find fractions of whole numbers. For our create task we were to figure out questions from a document that were about restaurants . I couldn't show you a picture of my working out in book because my camera is broken so I will just write out the questions:

1. Which restaurant saved $3 a day over a 5 day period?

=  We know that 5x3 = 15 and restaurant 1 made $15 so restaurant 1 is the answer 

2. Which restaurant saved $10 a day over a week?

= We know that there are 7 days in a week so we go 7x10=70 and restaurant 3 made $70 so our answer was restaurant 3

We didn't get to figure out the rest of the questions in time so that is all we did
