Our fantastic PBL

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog today I will be telling you about my fantastic PBL for term 3. This term we were looking at How Can Innovation Improve Our Lives? and we needed to make something that could help us in our everyday lives. My group Beth, Eilish, Megan and Jimi came up with a device holder. Say if you needed to facetime someone and you didn't have a case or you didn't have anything to stand it up with! What will you do?? That's how JEMBS device holders can help you. there's an Ipad holder a phone holder, Airpod holder and a headphone holder EVEN Better there's a drink bottle holder, portable charger holder and a tray where you can put you food on. Of course we couldn't make it out of wood so we made a really cool prototype out of cardboard and even an add. Our PBL showcase is going to be on the 25th of September. Our product turned out great here's a picture.

Hi My name is Sophie Maya Davis and I am 10 years old I am a year 6 at St Francis Of Assisi School and I love reading. My Favourite food is Pizza and Donuts and My Favourite day of the week is Friday. The things I do at school is Lit Club, Choir, Cricket and Kapa Haka. My friends at school are Beth, Eilish, Megan, Pieta, Grace, Lily, Holly, Lydia, frankie, Caoimhe, Ariella Lara, Jin,Hee, Alice and Santara. My Hobbies are Hockey and Gymnastics. When I am older I want to be a Teacher or a Vetenarian. I also would like to travel around the world. I enjoy school a lot and I can't wait to go to high school. I have one sister Emily Who is fifteen and 2 fish called Spot and Fred. I hoped you learned something about me today!

Trip to the museum!!!

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog today I am going to be telling you about my trip to the museum with my hub! So on Monday the 16 Th of September My Hub Tumu was going on a trip to the museum and I was really EXCITED!! when we got to the museum we talked about health and safety then we got split into two groups and went off with a person who worked at the museum. We had a lady and her name was called Marisa we got to go into a small room that looked like a classroom and we did fun activities in there like what they did in the olden days when the first people came to New Zealand. After when we were finished in the classroom we moved into the actual museum where we looked through the glass windows and look at what they did in the olden days. Then we had to get into groups and find things. Finally it was lunch time and we got to play in a really cool big tree and around the fountain. When we finished eating lunch and playing in the tree we got to go back into the museum and explore with our groups we got put in back at school my group was - Beth, Eilish, Cory and Cairo. We had Eilish's mum as our parent. We saw really cool stuff in the museum and I had so much fun with my friends. My favourite part of the museum was the Christchurch town where the horse was and the bike we also saw a really cool wizard that walks around Christchurch town and he gave me a really big Fright. overall I had a really great and fun time and I hope I could come back again.
